Coronavirus Safety Update
To Our Valued Patients,
Welcome Back! We miss you all and want to share with you the steps we have undertaken to make sure you are safe. We have followed strict guide lines from CDC. Our top priority is always the health and safety of our patients, and we thought it is important to communicate with you about what additional steps we’re taking to help keep you safe.
At SoCal Weight Loss Institute Inc., we start each day by sanitizing all common contact surfaces, treatment rooms, door knobs, and light switches. After each patient, treatment rooms are, again, wiped down with medical grade sanitizing products. In addition, we have two HEPA air purifiers running to help maintain a clean air environment throughout our office. We frequently ventilate the office by opening the windows and having central fan on. Hand sanitizer is available in all rooms of our practice, and sinks are available for hand washing as well. All staff are wearing 3-ply surgical mask.
We’re doing everything we can to try to keep our staff and patients safe and healthy, but we need your help too. If you don’t feel 100% well, please let us know, and we will be more than happy to reschedule your appointment for you. Please do not come to the office if you have one of the following:
- Cold or flu symptoms
- New cough
- New fever
- New shortness of breath
- New sore throat
- New runny nose
- New loss of smell or taste sensation
- New vomiting and diarrhea, or
- New unexplained fatigue and muscle aches without calling us first
- If you believe you may have been exposed to COVID-19 patient, even if you feel fine
- If you have traveled within the last 30 days
- If you were self-quarantine for any reason
Our goal is to see one patient at the time. When you have arrived, please stay in your car. Please call us and let us know that you are in the parking lot. Our front desk person will ask the questionnaire related to Covid-19 symptoms. Then we will let you know when you can come up. At this point visitors are not allowed, unless for a child or disabled patient. We urge you to have a mask, but if you do not have one we provide it to you. Also, we want you to cleanse your hand with the hand sanitizer which we provide at the door. We measure your temperature and if it is below 100F then you can get access to the clinic.
In addition, all staff including John Yadegar, M.D. get screened with questionnaire as well as temperature check before starting the day.
We will continue to closely monitor all new information available related to COVID-19, its spread, and prevention. Please feel free to contact us with questions or concerns related to your upcoming visit to our office. We want to maintain the trust and confidence that you have put in us and are working hard to do so.
All our best to you and yours,
John Yadegar, M.D. and Staff
